Did you know two-thirds of blindness and vision impairment occurs in women?  It’s estimated that more than 75% of visual impairment can be prevented or corrected through surgery.  The risk factors for blindness and vision impairment include smoking, excess weight, unhealthy diet, lack of exercise, and exposure to UV rays.  Are you doing all that you can to protect the health of your eyes and those of your loved ones?  If not, consider reading more about eye health care from Women’s Eye Health.org.  And make sure to visit your eye doctor if you think your vision could be worsening!
