Our Story
Steamboat Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center owned by the surgeons of Steamboat Orthopaedic & Spine Institute and UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center. The surgeons of Steamboat Surgery Center wanted to create a center of surgical excellence to provide surgical and procedural services to patients with a need for orthopaedic, pain management, and spine specialty services. In 2020, the facility opened. The facility has obtained certification from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and accreditation from The Joint Commission.
Steamboat Surgery Center has 2 operating rooms. The Center’s physicians perform orthopedic, pain management and spine surgery.
